1. Introduction

Welcome to Lumio ("the App", "the Service"). Lumio is developed and maintained by AZAppCraft. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

This Privacy Policy explains what information Lumio collects (or doesn't collect), how it is used, and how it is protected when you use our task management application.

      Short version: Lumio works entirely on your device. Your tasks and data are stored locally only and are never sent to any external server.
    

2. Data We Collect

      Lumio collects no personal data whatsoever. The app operates fully offline — no servers, no accounts, no analytics, no tracking.
    

The following data is never collected:

Name, email address, phone number, or any personally identifiable information
Geographic location
Contacts, media, or files from your device
The content of the tasks you create — stored on your device only
Usage statistics, analytics, or crash reports
Device identifiers or advertising IDs

3. App Permissions

Lumio requests the following Android permissions. Each one is required for core functionality and nothing else:

Permission	Why it's needed
`POST_NOTIFICATIONS`	To display task reminders as notifications. Required on Android 13+. You can revoke this at any time in Android Settings.
`SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM` `USE_EXACT_ALARM`	To fire reminders at the exact time you scheduled, even in battery-saving mode.
`RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED`	To restore your scheduled reminders after the device is restarted.
`VIBRATE`	To vibrate the device when a notification fires.

If you deny notification permissions, all other app features continue to work normally — only reminders are disabled.

4. How We Use Information

Since Lumio collects no personal information, there is nothing to "use". All data — your tasks, categories, and settings — is processed and stored exclusively on your device with no external communication.

5. Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share any personal information with third parties.

The only third-party service involved:

Google Play Services — used solely to distribute the app through the Play Store. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

      Lumio does not use Firebase, Google Analytics, AdMob, Crashlytics, or any other tracking or advertising SDK.
    

6. Data Storage & Security

All Lumio data is stored locally on your device only, using Android's SQLite database protected by the operating system's built-in security mechanisms.

No data is ever transmitted to external servers
Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all local data
For backup, you can use Android's built-in Google Backup feature

7. Your Rights

As a Lumio user, you have the right to:

Access your data: All your data is on your device and accessible directly through the app.
Delete your data: Uninstalling the app permanently removes all local data from your device.
Revoke permissions: You can revoke notification permissions at any time via Android Settings → Apps → Lumio → Permissions.

8. Children's Privacy

Lumio is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it immediately.

9. Policy Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced:

On this page with an updated "Last updated" date
Via an in-app notification
On the Lumio page in Google Play

Continued use of the app after any changes are announced constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
